"We have all to-do lists but we forget to make our to-don't lists." Adam Grant

What NOT to do?

How often do you ask yourself that question?

Not often enough if you are anything like me.

In an effort to keep everyone happy, to get things done, to keep the peace, we say yes and add that extra task to our already excessive and unrealistic to-do lists.

Ironically by doing so we are far more likely to let others or ourselves down in the long-term. Somethings gotta give!

As Steve Jobs famously said "focusing is about saying no."

This ability to say no was arguably Jobs's greatest skill. When Apple brought Jobs back, his first order of business was to shrink the product line--and make sure whatever Apple made, it made extremely well.

So, to get more focused what should be on your to-don't list?
