Building on yesterday’s tip #173 the fastest growing companies over the last two decades don’t work like most traditional companies.
These companies growing at a tenfold rate to their peers at least operating in a much more organic fashion.
“They are growing, changing organisms. They aren’t rigid structures bound by predetermined mandates about objectives, staff, or budget” says Patty in her book Powerful.
If the pace of change and adaptability inside an organisation is not as fast or faster than the changes happening outside the organization then ‘later if not sooner’ that company will be left behind.
