James Clear, author of Atomic Habits. Being mindful about your habits at this time of year is a worthy investment. As the quote above suggests we are a product of the choices we make every day. Many of the choices we make however are subconscious, tied up in behaviours and thinking patterns that have become habitual. That is great if the habits are fruitful but many of our habits do more harm than help. James Clear literally wrote the book on habits and shares some of his insights in the following HBR Idea-cast well worth listening to (here) As James says "the cost of good habits is in the present, the cost of bad habits is your future".
